Architectural features and
LEED requirements are driving factors for the use of precast / prestressed concrete products for these structures. Typical products used on this type of project are walls (exterior). The walls can be insulated or non-insulated, and architectural finishes (colors, textures, reveals and brick insets) can be added for style to compliment the surrounding environment or structures.
Precast concrete allows for reduced exterior maintenance, durability, and is fire retardant.
