Since noise reduction and fire containment are important factors in these facilities, precast / prestressed concrete is an excellent choice. Typical products used on this type of project are walls (exterior & interior) and hollowcore slabs (elevated flooring - noise reduction). The walls can be insulated or non-insulated, and architectural finishes can be added for style to compliment the surrounding environment or structures.

Common areas or indoor pools may need long spans or have climate requirements; therefore hollowcore slabs or double tees could be considered.
